Are you sure that this game is mouse-only? I plugged mouse movement, clicking, and Esc commands into JoyToKey, and was able to play this with a controller, with no problem. In fact, this game is even more controller-friendly than other Itch.io games that impose Xbox controller plug-and-play too broadly.
We haven't yet worked on the input system for controllers within the game engine. That being said, I'm sure that any third party software that maps inputs will pick up on the mouse input that are there in the game.
